Vick will apparently be exonerated

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick was not carrying marijuana or another illegal substance at the Miami airport and will be exonerated, league sources told ESPN's Chris Mortensen on Sunday.

On Wednesday, Vick surrendered a water bottle to security at Miami International Airport that authorities believed smelled like marijuana and contained a substance in a hidden compartment. Vick was not arrested and was allowed to board his flight to Atlanta.

When reached by The Associated Press on Sunday, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello wouldn't comment on the report.

Miami police had said it could take weeks to decide whether charges would be filed against Vick, a three-time Pro-Bowler.

A Falcons team source confirmed that the team expects to hear something formal by Monday.

what? no more ramblings about how bad the Vick brothers are as people because their last name is Vick?? nah, this won't make the opener for ESPN or anything like that

No matter what happens, 80% of people will still think the Vick's are still [censored] and thugs. I know I do. It will be funny as hell when he gets benched for a UVA boy...... Ok that won't happen but it should.

He is a thug, his brother is a thug. just because one time the cops got it wrong don`t change that. You know as well as I do him and his bro are always into trouble, just lucky this time they wernt caught

You realize that othe rpeople in this world went to Virginia Tech besides yourself correct? You do realize that Virginia Tech did not open the year you enrolled, that maybe just maybe some people actually went to college with he and his brother. I visted a neice of mine in Blackburg and ate at Dietrick (or however its spelled) and sat across from a guy with the name Vick.
